Very easy to upload and edit but a little worrying when the last album I uploaded is green lighted before all the others!?
You guys are the best. Extremely efficient. I appreciate your services.
Everything you said this program can do it did, and more. Strong work on the design, and much respect to the interface.
Happy Consumer,
Distrokid robs you of your money! Do not use them. I spoke with "Ringo" and he was pretty rude honestly. I signed up for a $80 plan but got rejected on my release because they don't allow a Various artists upload, and now they will not refund me the money to go back to my original plan. I loved this service at first but now I hate it
I was fast and easily on the major streaming services. After one day my music was no more on Apple Music and iTunes store. No reason, no communication about it.
DistroKid is great! I've used plenty of distros, too. The only thing the others have that DistroKid doesn't is the ability to change masters/audio files for live releases. If that was added, DistroKid would be far more than the best in my eyes. It's painful to miss out on this feature with such a great service, especially because 1: I'm a learning mixing engineer, and 2: the other services I've used were not nearly as good, its just that they had this feature, and its a bummer to see DistroKid doesn't.
So far everything is great. Simple direct instructions avail any artists the opportunity to present h/her music to the masses. The fee is minimal and the add ons e.g legacy are ideal if you feel your music coincides with the times. By all means choose distrokid and finally reap the reward you've struggled to achieve in the mainstream. Best of luck and keep reading and writing. Its Fundamental!
Greatest tool for a independent artist to have
It would be great to EDIT some music after Album is released (like make deluxe or even change whole song on album and reupload). Also would be great to add option that some of singles from Album can be released few days before Album release and it shows on Album but others track are still "unavailable" if you know what I mean:):
